Access Login

After registering with the Academic Services you will receive an email in your personal external email account, an access Login @ucpcrp.pt and another with your institutional email @ucp.pt, along with their passwords (keep it in a safe place!). With this, you will have access to all available IT resources.
The access Login must always be used in this format StudentNumber@ucpcrp.pt, it is personal, non-transferable.
Access to IT resources (eg Office 365) is through your Institutional E-mail which will only be available as long as you are our student, that is, while you have an active enrollment.
If you forget your @ucpcrp.pt account password, you can get a new one here and your @ucp.pt email password here.

 

E-mail Account (@ucp.pt)

  • All students will access to an institutional email similar to this format: s-NSurname@ucp.pt;
  • Accessible via web at https://outlook.office.com/mail/;
  • If you want to set up email on your computer, tablet, or smartphone use your e-mail and password;
  • Always use your institutional UCP e-mail to contact the University services.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS FROM/TO UCP AND CONTACTS WITH UCP SERVICES SHOULD BE MADE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH YOUR UCP E-MAIL ACCOUNT @ucp.pt

 

Wi-Fi (eduroam)

  • Configuration instructions can be found at www.porto.ucp.pt/eduroam;
  • To configure the Wi-Fi network (Eduroam) use your Access Login @ucpcrp.pt (does not work with the institutional email @ucp.pt)
  • Before connecting, make sure your device is properly updated and protected.
     

Help Desk
Available to support configurations for Wi-Fi, VPN, Printing and other UCP systems.

Computer Labs
EC-101, EC-102, EC-104, EC007 e EC008

  • They can be used from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 8:00 pm freely, if they are not booked for classes.
  • In full occupation, students that justify their use for class activities will have priority, above the remaining.

 

Office 365

Access to Office 365 installation is available through the link office.com using your institutional e-email (@ucp.pt).

 

Campus Kiosk

It is an online self-service to provide IT support to students of Católica Porto. With a simple interface and intuitive navigation, we seek to provide students with autonomy in solving the most common problems that you may encounter.
It is located at the main entrance (floor 0) of the Central Building, on the Porto campus.

 

Terms of use

  • Access to computer and network resources must be done, exclusively with the Access Login provided, which is personal and non-transferable to other users;
  • In computer labs, Internet access should be primarily used for academic purposes and within the established timetables; their use for personal purposes shall not exceed reasonable limits;
  • Internet access is controlled by firewalls, so only the protocols / ports necessary for the normal operation of authorized applications are available;
  • It is forbidden to connect any personal equipment to the University’s cable network;
  • It is forbidden to activate or connect LAN and/or Wi-Fi network equipments (hubs, switchs, routers, Wi-Fi signal amplifiers), as well as the creation of WI-FI ad-hoc networks;
  • It is forbidden the installation and use of software or applications that are not previously authorized by DSTI;
  • It is forbidden the use of the institutional email account for sending unsolicited e-mail (SPAM).

The non-compliance of these rules, reserves the right to Católica of suspending the complete access to the internet and computer resources, temporarily or permanently.
