A educação escolar é hoje atravessada por várias tensões e desafios, como a compulsividade e o abandono, o acolhimento de todos e as aprendizagens de cada um, o projeto societário e a integração comunitária, a vivência escolar e a formação para a vida adulta, o currículo prescrito e o currículo oculto, a forma escolar e as modalidades de educação não formal.

A área da educação entronca-se ainda com diferentes áreas e domínios do conhecimento e da ação e articula-se com territórios geográficos, sociais e culturais.

Ancorando-se numa perspetiva humanista que enfatiza a educação integral do ser humano, a Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa promove o III Seminário Internacional “Educação, Territórios e Desenvolvimento Humano", que se realiza no Porto nos dias 18 e 19 de julho de 2019.

O Seminário Internacional pretende reunir investigadores, académicos, estudantes e profissionais da área da educação e constituir uma oportunidade privilegiada para a divulgação de pesquisas e de estudos, para a troca de experiências, debate de ideias e reflexão no domínio da educação formal e não formal.

Foi solicitada a acreditação deste Seminário ao CCPFC

School education is nowadays crossed by several tensions and challenges, such as compulsivity and abandonment, the acceptance of all and the learning of each one, the societal project and the communitarian integration, the school experience and  the training for adult life, the prescribed curriculum and the hidden curriculum, the school form and the modalities of the non-formal education.

The area of education is still interwoven with different areas and domains of knowledge and action and articulates with geographic, social and cultural territories.

Anchored in a humanistic perspective that emphasizes the integral education of the human being, the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Catholic University of Portugal promotes the 3nd International Seminar "Education, Territories and Human Development", that will be held in Porto on the 18^th and 19^th of july of 2019.

The International Seminar aims to reunite researchers, academics, students and professionals of the area of education and provide a privileged opportunity for the dissemination of research and studies, for the exchange of experiences, the debate of ideas and the reflection in the field of formal and non-formal education.
