Apresentação da parceria entre a Escola Superior de Biotecnologia e a empresa internacional Biorbis

No dia 20 de novembro, pelas 11 horas, realiza-se o evento de lançamento da recente colaboração entre a Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa e a empresa internacional BIORBIS, que escolhe Portugal para realizar o seu investimento de investigação e inovação na Europa. A Biorbis é detida maioritariamente pela empresa que lidera a produção de cana-de-açúcar da Guatemala e o top 5 dos produtores de açúcar da América Latina - a IMSA - Ingenio Magdalena.

Este programa prevê um investimento privado inicial de 3 milhões, com um potencial de 23 milhões nos próximos 5 anos, no projeto de investigação e inovação que procura desenvolver a próxima geração de biomoléculas, seguras, sustentáveis e de elevado valor.

Um evento que se realiza no Auditório Arménio Miranda, no Edifício de Biotecnologia.

Presentation of the partnership between the Faculty of Biotechnology and the international company Biorbis

On November 20^th, at 11 a.m, there will be held event to launch the recent collaboration between the Faculty of Biotechnology of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the international company BIORBIS, which has chosen Portugal to carry out its research and innovation investment in Europe. Biorbis is majority-owned by Guatemala's leading sugar cane producer and Latin America's top 5 sugar producers - IMSA - Ingenio Magdalena.

This program foresees an initial private investment of 3 million, with a potential of 23 million over the next 5 years. The research and innovation project seeks to develop the next generation of safe, sustainable and high-value biomolecules.

The event will take place in the Arménio Miranda Auditorium, in the Biotechnology Building.
