IDU

What is my Unique Digital Identity (IDU) for?

Your IDU has a dual functionality for logging in and your institutional email address. As a login in the s-NSurname@ucp.pt format, at the moment it should only be used to access Office365 which includes Outlook, Onedrive and Teams.

To access other services and institutional applications, you should always use the Católica Porto Login with the format numerodealuno@ucpcrp.pt. This login will give you access to:

  • Campus Online
  • Online Academic Services (e-SCA)
  • CatolicaPrint (Printing, Scanning and Photocopying)
  • Wi-Fi network (Eduroam)
  • University Local Computer Login
  • Mailbox numerodealuno@porto.ucp.pt (only for existing students and until the end of October 2021)

How do I configure the new @ucp.pt email?
The configuration of your new @ucp.pt email account in any email application should be done by selecting the Exchange/Office 365 server type and using your new @ucp.pt credentials (IDU). Alternatively, you can access your email via Webmail using https://outlook.office.com/mail/

What happens to my email @porto.ucp.pt (only for students who joined UCP before 21/22)?
At this stage, your @porto.ucp.pt mailbox will remain operational until the end of October and, in parallel, you will have your new email account @ucp.pt through Office 365. After this date, we will no longer guarantee access to the data and to the e-mail account @porto.ucp.pt – there will be no possibility of forwarding - and consequently its content, so you should therefore try to safeguard all the information in your mailbox @porto.ucp.pt in advance.
