- How can I have internet on my laptop / tablet / smartphone?

We offer free WIFI access (eduroam), so you only need to have a Wifi device and valid credentials. For more information, consult the configuration instructions of the various devices at https://www.porto.ucp.pt/eduroam.

 

- I forgot my network password! And now how do I recover it?

Students can easily retrieve the network password by simply accessing the form that is available on the Campus Online or through the following link https://www.porto.ucp.pt/en/resetpassword/.

If the data you indicate on this form is in accordance with what is registered in the academic services, you will receive your new password immediately.

 

- I want to change my passwords, how can I do?

You can change the password in Webmail. To do this you must access the webmail. After logging in, the password change option is available in the upper right corner in Options-> Change Your Password. We suggest you check the vídeo.

 

- I want to print my work. How is it done?

Católica Porto provides a printing service that allows you to print and photocopy without moving to another location. You can find detailed information about this service at https://www.porto.ucp.pt/en/catolicaprinten.

 

- How do I set up Católica Porto email?

There are several ways to access Católica Porto e-mail. You can do this setting directly account email client, or use services such as Hotmail and Gmail. We provide a set of videos that demonstrate the several alternatives to set the email of Católica Porto.

 

- I can not access Campus Online. What will be wrong?

To validate if your login an password oi ok, try access at your webmail. If you don’t have access do Reset Password.

If the access is successful and you have registered less than 1 day ago, we suggest that you retry access the next day. Access to Campus Online depends on a process of synchronization that occurs outside the normal hours of operation of the services, so it is only available the following day after the enrollment in academic services, has been finished.

If it still does not connect, please contact us through your institutional email to helpdesk@ucp.pt.

 

- I need to do a bibliographic search and I want to do it from home. It's possible?

- How install Office on my computer?

The Católica Porto offers its students access to Office 365 free of charge. To obtain a version of Office you must access the link https://office365.porto.ucp.pt/. You must log in to the platform with your email and password.

 

Then you can download the application and its installation through the link provided in the platform.

 

- I have a question to ask the IT Support, what to do?

You can always make a request for support through your institutional email to helpdesk@ucp.pt. If you wish you can use a form to place an order, this form is available at https://helpdesk.ucp.pt/, to access this platform you must use your login and password.
