Submission Guidelines

Contributors are requested to send their submissions in electronic format (word or PDF file) by JULY 21st, 2015, to iibc2015@porto.ucp.pt. Please write in the subject of the e-mail: PAPER (Author). Please do not send e-mail attachments with a size over 4MB.

All papers must be submitted in English, no later than the deadline. Papers in other languages will not be considered.

 

When preparing your document, please observe the following guidelines for consistency in format before submission:

1. FIRST PAGE must only include Title, author/s and contact information.

2. SECOND PAGE must include Title and Abstract (please do not include author information either on this page, or in the rest of the paper).

3. Abstract: About 500 words. Abstracts should include a brief description of the paper, its methodology and the main outputs.

4. Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.

5. Maximum 30 pages in length, including the bibliography, tables, images, appendices, etc.

6. Tables, figures and images must be inserted in the text (not at the end of the paper).

7. Insert page number except on the first page.

8. References are to be listed alphabetically. For example:

Journal articles:
Ramírez-Alesón, M.; Espitia-Escuer, M. (2001): “The Effect of International Diversification Strategy on the Performance of Spanish-Based Firms during the Period 1991-1995″. Management International Review (MIR), Vol. 41, 2001/3, pp. 291-315.

Books:

Chapter in a book:
