Summary
In the scope of the Alchemy project, the economic valorisation of the spent broth originated in large volumes from the production of Biofene® (Amyris, Inc.) was pursued, aiming the development of innovative value-added products, towards an integrated biorefinery concept in synthetic biotechnology. In this presentation the pathway followed for the development of integrated processes of valorisation, allowing for the attainment of agricultural additives, animal nutrition functional feed additives, and cosmetic ingredients, will be presented.
