BSc in Nutritional Sciences

The B.Sc. in Nutritional Sciences encompasses a lecturing component (210 credits) and a placement (30 credits), aimed at providing the students a closer contact with the professional market. The placement takes place in different institutions and may target up to several areas of activity in Nutrition, including Clinical Nutrition, Community Nutrition, Caterers or Food industry (a protocol is established whenever needed). This cycle of studies provides the students with personal and technical skills aiming at fostering the integration in the work market and/or allowing an advanced scientific career.

The normal duration of the study cycle is 8 semesters.
